It may only be March, but summer fun is making its way into the 6ix and you can get tickets to soak up the sun. Ripley's Aquarium's Beach Bash is back in Toronto for another year and it will transform the venue into a tropical oasis for one night only. You can escape the cold of the Canadian winter this weekend as tickets are still on sale, and you even have the chance to win getaway trips.

According to the Ripley's website, Beach Bash in the 6ix is a 19+ event that'll leave you feeling like you've escaped the freezing temps.

The night, running from 8 p.m. until midnight this Friday, March 6, will have everything from cash bars, food stations, live DJ mixes and even beautiful fish exhibits, of course.

Tickets are on sale now for $32 plus tax, but if you happen to have an annual pass, you can get 50% off on entry fees.

When it comes to the beach-side grub on offer, food stations include Tuna and Jicama Poke, Jackfruit Tacos, and Thunder Bird Chicken Sandwich.

Meanwhile, Friday will also see a new exhibit open up, called Shipwrecks.

So, what are you waiting for? Grab your swimsuit or shorts, bring a buddy, and enjoy a night of early summer partying!

As if that wasn't appealing enough, you can also win one of many trips with Travel Saint Lucia and Sunwing Vacations at the bash on Friday!

Ripley's tends to have many themed events throughout the year, of course, like their Halloween Bash.

What with all these parties and occasions, it might sound like a dream to work at a place like this.

Well, the great thing is, you can.

Ripley's is looking for employees this summer and experience isn't necessarily required.

But, for now, Friday is your perfect excuse to attend a summertime event during Canada's coldest season.

Snow is expected to hit the 6ix on March 6, anyway, so make sure to purchase your tickets before they sell out.
