St. Lawrence Market has been a huge part of the city's culinary scene since 1803.

You can soon enjoy this spot even more, as the market is going to be opening on Sundays.

Not only can you spend an extra day indulging in all sorts of delicious goods, but you can also spend your evenings there too.

Starting March 15, the market will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Tuesday to Friday, as well as on Sundays.

The new hours are part of a one-year pilot program offering customers a larger timeframe to shop. The market will still remain closed on Mondays.

On March 15, you can head over to the building and celebrate the launch of Sunday hours with the market's first open Sunday.

There will be a bunch of free activities taking place, as well as all your favourite food vendors.

You can indulge in all sorts of delicious samples with a taste and tour, and even decorate your own cupcake.

There will also be roaming balloon twisters, face painters, and wandering magic shows.

Other offers will include in-store promotions, lots of free samples, and paid cooking classes.

The market opens at 10 a.m. and will run until 5 p.m.

After visiting the market, you can wander over to the nearby Distillery District to check out some of its hidden gems.
