This winter, Toronto will be full of incredible experiences that will warm you up in the best way possible. A sparkling holiday event is returning to the city, and it's worth putting your toque on for. Toronto's 2019 Cavalcade Of Lights is happening in November, and it'll be as dazzling as ever.
Each year, Nathan Phillips Square is transformed into a glimmering Christmas wonderland for Torontonians to enjoy. This will be the event's fifty-third year running, and it promises to be magical.
The Cavalcade Of Lights kicks off on November 30, and will include a fireworks show and live musical performances. The event organizers have told Narcity that you'll be able to watch the illumination of the towering 60-foot Christmas tree, as well as watch the stunning fireworks display light up the city with bright colours and sparkling bursts.
Drift down along a glassy ice rink surrounded by 525,000 twinkling lights for a magical winter experience. There will be music played by a live DJ, and performances by top Canadian talent including Riit and Les Chausseurs de Rêves.
The event runs from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m, which gives you lots of time to enjoy the stunning displays and get your skating fill.
Don't worry if you can't make it to the opening ceremony! The light displays and massive Christmas tree will be sparkling every evening during the holiday season.
