There may not be snow on the ground yet, but the most wonderful time of the year is coming up fast! Soon you can indulge in candy canes, decorate Christmas trees, and check out some magical holiday festivals happening around the city. Toronto has no shortage of festive fun, with tons of exciting installations and experiences opening soon. This enchanting event will be full of twinkling lights and hit music! Toronto's Bloor-Yorkville Holiday Magic 2019 will have tons of twinkling trees and a free concert.

The event will be returning for another year on November 23, 2019, in the Village of Yorkville Park. This year's free concert features Juno-winner Ruth B., most known for her hit single, Lost Boy. She'll be including a range of her most popular songs during the live performance. Opening for Ruth B. is singer/songwriter NEFE.

The 'Flick the Switch' Lighting Ceremony will also take place during the event. Watch the Village burst into light for the first time of the season, as tons of LED lights twinkle from 138 trees. The area will be transformed into a glittering holiday paradise and will remain illuminated for the entire Christmas season. The event is in support of the Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research.

Come out and enjoy some Holiday Magic at this totally free event. Shop, dine and explore the neighbourhood while surrounded by sparkly festive lights after the show, and maybe sit down for a cup of hot cocoa!
