Christmas is one of the best times of the year, and most of us find ourselves wishing it could last longer. Who wants to say goodbye to delicious cookies and twinkle lights? A new activity in Toronto if putting a totally new twist on the holiday season. Instead of basking in festive joy, you have to try and escape it! While escaping from Christmas does sound completely backwards, this event promises to be nothing but fun. Toronto's Christmas escape room is filled with holiday nostalgia and festive puzzles.

Trivia Escape Rooms is hosting a special holiday treat in Toronto this year. From November 21, 2019 - January 16, 2020, you're invited on a magical journey into your favourite Christmas films. The Escape This Holiday Disaster event will feature elements from several nostalgic stories like Elf, Home Alone, and A Nightmare Before Christmas.

You'll enter into a whimsical living room decked out in festive decor that features these holiday movies. You'll want to brush up on your Christmas film knowledge because you'll have to answer trivia in order to move on to the next adventure.

You'll eventually end up in a twisted version of Santa's Workshop. The space will be filled with incredible installations from local artists that challenge the usual perceptions about the North Pole.

You can expect to build festive props and re-enact classic movie scenes such as Buddy the Elf decorating, or the Home Alone booby-traps. You'll be tested on a range of seasonal trivia, from films to religions.

See if you have what it takes to escape Christmas this year! The room is available to book as a group of two to eight people. Prices range from $26 to $30 each depending on the group size.

Start studying and see if you can outsmart these Christmas challenges. Finish the day off by grabbing a drink at Toronto's pop up Christmas bar!
