Calling all patriots! Friday Night Live at the ROM has a special theme this week to celebrate Canada Day. The 'O Canada' event will be the season finale of the popular 'Friday Night Live' events held at the museum. Toronto's ROM after-hours party is a massive event for ages 19+ and you can't miss it!
This Friday, June 28, get a group of friends together and head over to the ROM for a night of celebrating. It's a fun way to experience the museum in a totally different light. Don't forget to wear your dancing shoes!
Each Friday has a different theme, and guests are asked to dress accordingly. The main hall of the museum is filled with food vendors and live bands, and you can dance with your friends beneath towering dinosaur bones!
The party doesn't stop on the dance floor. Many areas of the museum remain open, meaning that you're free to wander through exhibits while sipping on fancy cocktails.
This Friday, the 'O Canada' event will include live entertainment such as Lu Kala and comedians Tallboyz II Men. You'll also be able to try delicious food such as Japanese fried chicken and volcano ice cream. See how well you listened in history class by trying a round of Historica Canada's trivia game. You'll learn some cool new facts about Canada too!
It's a good idea to purchase tickets for the event in advance, as early bird ticket holders are guaranteed entry. After 8, entrance is dependant on capacity. Don't forget to bring a government issued ID with you. You can purchase tickets for 'O Canada' here.
