Toronto is known as an incredibly multi-cultural city so you can pretty much find any type of food you'd ever want to try here. Asian food has quickly taken over the city though and has become one of our favourite kinds of international cuisines.
We don't have to pay for an expensive flight across the world to try some of the best Asian dishes from ramen and dim sum to bubble tea and bingsu. Because these unreal dishes have taken over the city, there's no surprise that an entire festival and night market in Toronto is dedicated to them! If you come out to the Waterfront Night Market this summer you can try some of the best Pan-Asian eats in the city.
The ultimate Pan-Asian food event is officially coming back this year! Waterfront Night Market will be taking over Ontario Place from August 9th to 11th this summer and we honestly can't wait.
They moved to Ontario Place last year to expand the event since it was so insanely popular so we know this year will just get even bigger and better than the last! The night market will host over 150 Pan-Asian food vendors, an all-new craft beer zone, tons of entertainment and interactive games, and a massive artisans market.
There's an insane variety of food available at this festival including Thai ice tea in unicorn floaties, bubble tea, rolled ice cream, BBQ octopus, ube ice cream, potato tornadoes and so much more! We know the vendors will be cooking up some new and interesting eats for us again this year.
The best part is, admission to the food festival portion and artisan market is completely free! If you want to visit their all-new 19+ beer zone you'll have to buy tickets for $15 which includes 5 tokens. They also offer 'beer buddy' passes for $25 which includes 10 tokens and entry for two but it's only available for purchase online before the event.
