Watching movies while floating in the water is the perfect way to spend a relaxing summer day with your friends. If you want to experience watching a movie while in the water, you are in luck as there will be a floating cinema event happening in Montreal. This summer you can watch a free movie at Parc Jean Drapeau while floating in the water!
From June to August, at the Aquatic Complex within Parc Jean Drapeau, there will be 3 free movie nights. The one movie night you won't want to miss is Jurassic Park on Saturday, August 31, from 7 to 9 pm. It's your chance to rewatch the original Steven Spielberg's blockbuster about a dinosaur theme park.
For the floating cinema nights, there will a movie projected on a screen next to the diving pool. To help you stay comfortable while watching the movie, you can float on a pool inflatable. For the event, you can bring a pool float, or you can borrow one available at the park for free.
Everyone attending the floating cinema nights is encouraged to dress up following the movie night theme. So make sure to bring your dinosaur pool floats, or get creative with your Jurassic Park inspired costumes on August 31. It's time to start planning what you'll wear!
These fun movie nights are free to anyone who has paid their admission to the Aquatic Complex or has a season pass. Entry for adults is $7.50 but gives you entrance to the fantastic aquatic center with three pools. So feel free to arrive early and spend the day having fun in the pools before the movie.
What are you waiting for? It is time to invite your friends to join you for a movie night you'll never forget.
