You Can Have The Ultimate Movie Night Under The Stars At This Alabama Drive-In Theater
The best spot to catch a double feature!
Drive-in movie theaters make for a great way to spice up date night or to get the gang together for something fun. They're also ideal for “going out” while still “staying in” too. If you're looking for something to do with your weekend, you can check out the 411 Drive-in Theater in Alabama for an affordable movie night under the stars.
411 has been around since 1953. You'll find it just about an hour and a half from Birmingham in Centre; and like many good things, it’s family-owned and operated.
They’re usually open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday but following Memorial Day they open up 7 days a week until Labor Day.
From horror flicks to fun movies for kids and the kids-at-heart and even classic throwbacks you can watch all your favorite flicks and new releases at this.
It’s the perfect place for a weekend hangout with the besties or cheap date with the boo. For the $15 admission price, you can catch two movies for the price of one with a on one of their two screens.
While they don’t allow outside food or drink, you'll probably want to come hungry when you head here. Their concessions stand has a wide selection of options that'll fill you up.
411 has a little bit of everything including burgers, chicken sandwiches, pizza, nachos tons of finger foods, candies, and the movie-goin' classic: popcorn.
And if you have a sweet tooth, you'll want to save room for dessert with a pint of ice cream or a Hawaiian shaved ice, washing it all down with a soft drink.
Calling in advance is recommended. Walk-ins are also welcome but will add an extra $5 to your admission price. If you leave the theater, you’ll have to pay to re-enter.
Before the show starts, make sure to dim your lights and turn off your engine.
You may also want to double-check your daily weather forecast before heading over. The show will go on rain or shine, so no rainchecks will be offered.
