We love Halloween because we can dress up as our favorite characters, but what we love even more is dressing up our pets! This October you can dress up your furry friends for an event that's like Halloween for dogs.
On Sunday, Oct. 27 from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., you and your doggo can go to the second annual Howl-O-Ween dog parade. The event is free, but if you want your pet to march in the parade there will be a $25 fee per dog. You can expect a Halloween dog parade, giant dog sculptures, food trucks, and adorable pets rocking some awesome costumes.
This doggo lover's dream will take place in Phoenix, Arizona on the west side of Margaret T. Hance Park and parking for the event is free. Registering your dog for the parade will open soon and you can check here.
You and your dog can relax in the park and enjoy the creative costumes of all the other pets. This year there will also be a huge art installation called The Big Dog Show. It will feature 20 eight-foot-tall dog sculptures!
The sculptures will also be on display until the end of November. So if you can't make it to the parade you can still check out the awesome dog sculptures.
While you and your doggos are relaxing in the park you can enjoy food from food trucks, and there will even be booths handing out dog treats.
Last year there was live music, craft beer, games, and a doggie costume contest. You can bring your own blankets and chairs for a doggone spectacular event.
Location: Margaret T. Hance Park (west side)
Why you should go: You and your pupper can dress up for a Halloween themed dog parade. Your pets can even dress up and you'll see giant dog sculptures too.
