We truly can't get enough of fall, especially since one of our favorite holidays is during our favorite time of the year. This fall has us thrilled because this Halloween event in Arizona is making its debut at the Mesa Convention Center.
On Saturday, Oct. 12 you and your friends can dress up in costume and attend Arizona's first-ever Halloweencon. It will be held at the Mesa Convention Center from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. You can go there for free or purchase a general ticket online for $21 or a VIP ticket for $35. If you purchase a ticket you get cool perks such as being able to see celebrity guests, participate in the zombie walk and more!
Parking at the event is free and you're able to buy tickets at the door if they're available. You should try and wear your best costume because the winner of the costume contest will get $300. You'll also be able to shop for Halloween-themed products, attend the Halloween party, visit haunted rooms and a mobile escape room, or watch celebrity guest movies.
If you decide to purchase a VIP ticket you'll get a movie fast pass and seats at the Halloween ball. Buying a ticket will also allow you to see some celebrities! Some of the celebrity guests include:
- Butch Patrick who played Eddie Munster
- David Naughton from American Werewolf in London
- Scout Taylor-Compton from Rob Zombie's Halloween I & II
Getting autographs, going through the haunted rooms and escape room will cost extra. At sunset, you can expect a chilling zombie walk to occur. It'll go through downtown Mesa and be about two miles long.
When you're done channeling your inner zombie you can attend the DJ Halloween Party. It'll have music, lights, and a dance floor for you to get your creep on. You can buy your tickets here.
