If we made a list of horror movie villains that absolutely terrify us, Jason would be at the top. The machete-wielding superhuman's weakness is water, but how would you survive Jason in the desert when there's no water around? This month, you and your friends will have to try and survive Jason in this live-action survival game.

Throughout the year, On Pins and Needles hosts terrifying F13: Survive Jason nights. This event requires you to solve puzzles to try and find a way to escape the nightmare that is Jason. Usually, you can expect two events each month throughout the year. The upcoming events are on Oct. 19, Nov 9, Nov 16, Dec 13 and Dec 21 from 6:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m. You have to be 18 years or older to participate in the game.

During each event, you can expect three 25-minute games held throughout the night. In each game, there will be 8 players that can team up against Jason or you can try surviving solo. Although each game doesn't start right away, you and your friends can enjoy the pre-game campfire cookout. Tickets are $25 per person and it includes a meal! Each event is held at different locations throughout the year*.

You can find the event details here

Tickets sell out fast, so make sure that you and your friends plan ahead. The campground site is usually located around the Flagstaff and Prescott area. If you want to participate in the pre-game campfire cookout, you should arrive 30 minutes early.

The first game will usually start around dusk. The anticipation alone might get you before Jason does! If you decide to play, you will be able to use one weapon at a time to defend yourself against Jason, and if your game goes into overtime, the play area becomes smaller. Overtime usually adds an extra 10 minutes to the game.

On Pins and Needles also hosts horror-themed photoshoots that make your nightmares come true. You and your friends will have an epic night trying to survive Jason. Afterward, you can go visit these fall bucket list destinations that are perfect for a weekend with friends.

Make sure to leave your furry friends at home. Since the event takes place outside it's possible that you may see some wildlife. Below are some photos from one of the most recent events!

You can also join their email lists so that you can be notified of upcoming events. On Friday, the event hosts held a contest for best Jason meme. Two winners were chosen and their prize was a ticket for a free game on the date of their choice. Click the comment box on the post below to see some noteworthy Jason memes*.
