You Can Visit A Whimsical Pumpkin Garden This Fall In Arizona

Summer is coming to an end and that means it's almost pumpkin everything season. If you're looking for some fall fun in the desert that involves everything we love about autumn, like pumpkins, you can visit this pumpkin festival in Arizona. It's got a bit of everything for everyone.
The Enchanted Pumpkin Garden can be found in the town of Carefree, Arizona. It's a huge pumpkin festival that showcases the talent of renowned pumpkin carvers. This whimsical garden is open from Oct. 18-27 for 10 days of Halloween pre-gaming. Festival times vary depending on the day you go.
- Mon.-Thurs. open from 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.
- Fri.-Sat. open from 10:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m.
- Sundays open from 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.
You can expect free parking and it costs $15 per person Friday through Sunday and $10 per person Monday through Thursday. It can get pretty crowded on the weekends so it's best to try and make a weekday trip here. There are lots of activities such as pumpkin carving, costume contests, a beer garden, and more.
If you are a pumpkin pie lover like we are you can also participate in the pumpkin pie eating contest. You'll even have to eat the pie with your hands behind your back.
We get it if pumpkins aren't your thing you can try and make your way through the haunted house, spend your time at the petting zoo, or wind down at the Jack-o'-Lantern Beer garden. It'll have fall craft brews and a variety of wines.
With all the pumpkin-flavored food around you'll probably want something savory too. There will be a variety of restaurants around town and many types of food trucks such as Munch Box AZ and Tom's BBQ Pig Rig.
When you're ready to go for the night, you can adopt a pumpkin and even get a birth certificate. Each pumpkin will cost $10. You can even watch the pumpkin carvers carve specialty pumpkins.
