You Can Pick Your Own Sunflowers And Visit Endless Fields At This Orchard In Arizona
You can get lost daydreaming in the prettiest sunflower field.
It's that time of year again, where fields are filled with bright yellow sunflowers that make us swoon. You can celebrate sunflower season next month with a daytime trip to this sunflower field in Arizona. It has endless fields and endless possibilities.
Auntie Annie's Produce and Pumpkin Patch will allow you to start picking your own sunflowers starting mid-to-late September and into October. During other times of the year, you can even pick your own fruits and vegetables. Some products you can expect to pick are apples, peaches, chili peppers, and summer squash.
This enchanting sunflower field can be found in Willcox, Arizona. Usually, you can pick your own flowers for $1 per stem or $5 for six stems. You can take them home and create a beautiful fall centerpiece or bouquet. The orchard is open every year from July - October, making this a great place to visit for a summertime or fall adventure.
Admission into the orchard and produce sections are free. You can also expect the parking to be free and plentiful on their dirt lot. They can provide you with boxes for picking for $1 or you can bring your own.
You'll also find a massive corn maze here, that. It's $8 per person to enter the maze and if you want a true farm experience you can also do the maze and hayride combo for $10 per person.
When you're done daydreaming in the endless fields, you can stop by the country store and purchase homemade items they make using fresh products from the fields. Some of them include apple pie, apple bread, apple butter, fudge and more.
The produce and pumpkin fields are open daily in Sept. from 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and in Oct. from 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. You should leave your pets at home because they aren't allowed unless they are a service animal.
