This Massive California Cruise Liner Is Hosting The Ultimate Halloween Horror Fest
We're just here for the boos.
This 1,019-foot cruise liner is the place to be for Halloween. If you haven’t heard of the Dark Harbor Queen Mary before, you’re in for the fright-fest of your life.
After all, the only thing better than epic horror mazes is epic horror mazes on a massive 1930s cruise liner. The entire boat and harbor are decked out in massive, creepy carnival themes.
A massive freak wave has hit the Queen Mary this year and the ship is teeming with bloody creatures you’d only see in nightmares. Rumor has it, there’s a ghost (aka Mary) who still haunts the ship after dark and a voodoo priestess casting spells on guests with dark black magic.
You’re gonna want a hand to hold! Why not bring your friends and SO to protect you?
Tickets start at $34 per person for general admission. Dark Harbor runs from September 26 to November 2 from 7 pm to 1 am. Times vary by night, so plan accordingly.
All night long, you’ll be running through horrifying mazes to escape countless monsters haunting the ship. But this year, there’s a new evil power haunting the scene. A sinister circus has taken hold of the area. Prepare to dance for the Ringmaster.
Her collection of freaks and creepy creatures lurk behind every shadow and curtain. Watch your back. Rumor has it, she’s looking to add to her collection.
Even the ship itself is creepy. Since it was built in 1936, its dark, confined quarters feel scary even without monsters. But it's even worse with them. You can’t outrun an evil clown in a long, skinny hallway.
Besides the mazes, there’s also a R.I.P. Lounge where you can sip your fair share of boozy drinks. We don’t know about you, but we’ll be hitting up the Happy Haunting Hour from 6 to 8 pm. For an extra $20, guests can calm their nerves with quirky spiked cocktails at one of the on-site taprooms.
There’s also a feast where an evil chef serves up a delicious four-course meal. Sure, the options are mouth-watering. But don’t stay too long. You don’t want to end up as an item on the menu!
If you’re crazy enough, you can even book a hotel room on the haunted ship. Why not extend your stay (indefinitely)? *Cue diabolical laughter*
