You Can Book Actual Cuddle Time With Puppies At This California Hotel
It's all for a good cause!
Anyone who's traveled knows it's both fun and stressful. There's packing, crowds, and don't even get us started on flight delays. Whether you're traveling for business or pleasure, we've found something to ease that vacation stress. Hotel Nikko San Francisco offers on-demand puppy cuddles. If you plan on going to the City by the Bay, this is the place to unwind to the max.
When you check-in, you'll find a cute stuffed dog sitting on your bed. Don't worry; this isn't the only puppy you'll get to play with, although you can take the toy home for $29.
All of the proceeds go towards saving animals and local shelters. We love it!
Or, you can dial guest services and ask for a real-life puppy to meet and greet. Puppy kisses and cuddles are on the way!
Narcity confirmed with Hotel Nikko that the puppy play date is free for guests.
The resident pup on staff is an adorable registered therapy dog named Buster. He's been working as the canine officer since 2015, and by his smile and wagging tail, it seems he loves his job.
If you're traveling with your pup and he needs a little company, Buster is always happy to make new friends.
His real-life furry BFF Tamago also helps spread a little sunshine to travelers and their doggos everywhere. Who couldn't smile looking at these goofy faces?
In the event you have your four-legged friend with you, the hotel offers a super special package to make their stay as comfy as possible.
Guests can opt to pay a $50 nightly fee and receive a pet pampering special, which includes a food and water bowl, plush doggy bed, and yummy treats.
If you book a VIP stay for you and your pooch, you can also take part in a pet and owner interaction session on a scenic outdoor play area.
While this stay is very pet centered, there's plenty of R&R options for humans too.
Why not treat yourself to a relaxing swim in the glass-enclosed 15-meter pool, a soothing dry sauna session, or an excellent Japanese dining experience at the on-site restaurant, Anzu? The options are endless.
If you find yourself traveling through San Francisco's International Airport, keep an eye out for its adorable on-staff, Lilou. She's one of many on the animal brigade helping travelers everywhere. Plus, she can play the piano!
