There are places in Florida so magical that they look like a postcard. With summer upon us, it comes the endless beach days, outdoor activities, and tanning sessions. Tide Views Preserve has a boardwalk with the perfect sunset view and summer photoshoot to remember.
Even with rainy days ahead, take some time to visit this magical place. The serene preserve is located in Atlantic Beach and is completely FREE. A walk along the boardwalk will get you close to one of the most beautiful views in North Florida and is great for bird watching. Watch hundreds of tiny crabs or stay for the sunset view at this hidden haven.
This place consists of eight acres of parkland and offers a scenic view of the Intracoastal Waterway, 2,500 feet of trail and boardwalk, a canoe launch, and fishing area. This place is popular among photographers in the area and the nice paved walkway also serves as a great spot for photo shoots.
The park is in the middle of nowhere and you might encounter some confusion while getting there. Below you can see a map and follow the directions. The park is not accessible through Atlantic Boulevard but if you follow the map you will easily find it.
Also, this is a great spot to bring your furry-friend and get some exercise. The trails take you through a hardwood hammock with views of the marsh and there is a trail map in case you find yourself lost.
Tideviews Preserve is located at the end of West 1st Street and Begonia Street, west of Mayport Road. You can visit the park as early as 7:30 am until dusk.
