Fairytales do exist if you are strolling at night surrounded by a gleaming light and tropical palm trees. If you're looking for things to do in Florida this winter include The NightGarden to your itinerary. This highly anticipated event is making a comeback to Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden and it will be brighter and bigger than ever this season.

Last year's spectacular show was a success but this year the botanic garden will illuminate the trails and feature more lights, interactive surprises, an expanded footprint that is three times larger than last year and a new augmented reality Fairy Quest challenge.

This year's event will also feature Archimedes the talking tree, the flying fairies, the NYE fireworks spectacular, challenging lost fairy puzzle and the best Miami food and beverage.

This is one of the most Instagrammable events of the year before Thanksgiving and Christmas season.

Besides walking through a jungle adorned with lights, the exhibit also offers a zen ambiance to meditate and relax. While you explore the garden you will notice a combination of sound, music, projections and illumination.

Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is known for its many exhibits and events throughout the year but this one will be one of the most special events to end the year.

This rainforest will transform into a colorful fairyland where you will be able to talk to a tree while observing the butterflies posing on the leaves. It will be the most magical place to have a romantic date.

The NightGarden experience will open on Friday, November 15 through January 11, 2020. You can also enjoy a mirror exhibit with pumpkins at the Miami Design District in Florida.
