From shimmering coastal beaches to crystal clear springs, and dense tropical forests, the beauty of Florida is everywhere. If you're looking for another way to explore it all, we think we may have just found your next escape. Like Tarzan and Jane, you can zip through the jungle at The Canyons Zip Line Adventure Park.
What was once a limestone mine was transformed into this Ocala gem, a diverse adventure among the trees. From crafted canyons & cliffs to dense tropical environments and even lake views their 9 different zip lines take you on a serious jungle escape above the treetops. You can even see the kayakers as you soar over the water.
Ziplining is all about elevation and gravity for speed. Thanks to the natural elevation, The Canyons has the tallest and longest ziplines in Florida - some as high as 155 feet, with their longest zipline running 1,150 feet in length - according to their website. Now that's one way to get a sky-high view of Florida's natural beauty.
Depending on which course you pick, you may find yourself crossing over canyons and lush landscapes on 2 different rope bridges.
The shortest course, the "Sky High Tour", is $49.99 and includes 3 ziplines, as well as their longest one, and lasts about an hour. The Treetop Express course is $69.99, includes 5 ziplines, and takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to complete.
But if you really want to see & experience it all, you'll want to get the Big Cliff Canyon adventure that includes 9 ziplines, 2 sky bridges, & a rappel at the end for $99.99 on a 2.5-3 hour long tour.
Or if you don't think you're quite ready to go sky-high, they also offer gorgeous horseback riding tours and kayaking with equally stunning forest views.
