The joy of going to the zoo and seeing the animals never truly dies as an adult - but wouldn't it be nice if we could have free range of the place without the kiddos? You actually can this Thursday at Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens.
Every 3rd Thursday of the Month, Central Florida Zoo opens their doors late so we adults can have a little treat-yo-self night on the cheap. Admission is just $5 vs their usual $19.50 adult ticket, giving you free rein of the zoo. The next one is coming up this week too, Thursday, August 15th!
To make things even better, beer & wine are available for purchase, so you can sip some spirits while unleashing the spirit of your inner child. Check out the cheetahs, hang out with the 3-toed sloths or get up close and personal to feed Rafiki & Gage the Giraffes.
Live music and food trucks will also be on the scene, serving up fun party vibes and delicious bites. Crave the Columbian empandita from Chikiz or go on an Asian-inspired flave-cation with a bite from Saigon Sizzle's food truck.
Whether you enjoy your animal experiences from afar or like to get up close with the wild, you'll have an awesome time at Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens' event, Sunset at the Zoo - with music, booze, and all.
