Just because Florida doesn’t get to experience winter in the traditional sense doesn’t mean we skimp out on the decorations—on the contrary. You can find award-winning light displays across the Sunshine State once the holiday season kicks off, and there are even places you can see “snow.” As for downtown Orlando, not only will it be “snowing,” but you can even ride in a romantic horse-drawn carriage for free during the 30 Days of Christmas event!

Church Street will transform into a real-life winter wonderland again this year, illuminating Orlando from the heart of downtown with holiday spirit. The 30 Days of Christmas kicks off on December 2 and finishes on December 31, so get in on the fun while you can!

Orange Ave will be headed by the famous Jack Katanzas star, and the tree lighting ceremony will start at 5:30p.m. on Monday, December 2 at the newly opened Floridabilt.

There will also be story time with Santa at Floridabilt on December 8th, and cookie decorating.

A coordinated light show and snowfall will happen nightly at 6, 7, 8, and 9p.m., with live entertainment Thursday through Sunday from 6 – 9p.m.

On Thursdays and Fridays from 6 – 10p.m., you can even catch a ride on a romantic horse-drawn carriage for free! Now if that doesn’t get you into the holiday spirit, we don’t know what will.
