The spooky season is over, which means we're already in ho-ho holiday mode. We're dreaming of sugar plum fairies, the sea of twinkling lights, and that feeling of whimsey that the holiday puts us in. It may still be a month away, but Busch Gardens Tampa will transform into a Christmas Town — ringing the bells of holiday cheer sooner than we thought.

We may not get the snow in the Sunshine State, but if you put up enough sparkling colored lights, trees, and mistletoe it's sure to feel like Santa season. Thankfully for us Christmas lovers, the happiness of the holidays are coming early this year. Starting November 16th, Busch Gardens will be completely taken over by the spirit of Christmas.

Over a million lights will light up the park across buildings, decorated trees & pathways including a tunnel of lights that they call Luminosity Lane, as well as a light show, choreographed to seasonal music at the Serengeti Overlook Restaurant.*

If you happen to go during the day to enjoy the park & watch the transition to an illuminated wonderland, venture over to the Serengeti Outpost, where you can go on an open-air wildlife safari and hand-feed giraffes.*

Even the park trains will be lit up with lights, featuring illuminated sculptures & decorations to make it feel like you're on Santa Clause Lane.

If you head over to the Christmas Town Market, carolers will make merry music to sing in the holiday spirit. Here you can shop for gifts or enjoy holiday-themed drinks and snacks serving some of those cozy yuletide vibes. Don't forget the hot chocolate!

Additional holiday experiences will be available including an ice skating show, a musical about the wisemen's journey to Bethlehem, & a spiritual gospel-style performance with contemporary music at the lit-up Stanleyville Center.

If you happen to have kids, they'll also have an Elmo's Christmas Wish show, and a chance for the kiddos to meet Santa & Rudolph.

It's beginning to look a lot like holidays in the Sunshine State already, and we're here for it. Christmas Town will be at Busch Gardens Tampa from Nov. 16th 2019 through Jan. 6th, 2020 and is included with park admission. It's like celebrating Christmas for nearly 3 months, ho-ho-heck yes.
