This is probably one of the few times you’ll ever get to have one of Florida’s number one beaches all to yourself. Even if it isn’t under ideal circumstances, there are some silver linings to be found! Make yourself a drink, kick back and relax all while you enjoy the pristine, empty sands of Clearwater Beach via live cam — where you can even catch a glimpse of wildlife enjoying the human-free waves!

Individual counties started closing Florida beaches last month in lieu of Governor DeSantis’s official stay-at-home order. Spring breakers and beach bums alike had to get creative to still enjoy their beach days, and picturesque live webcams have been a pretty good compromise.

The Visit St. Pete Clearwater website has four different cams to browse, giving us dreamy panoramic views of Clearwater Beach, St. Pete Beach, Indian Rocks Beach, and Sirata Resort. The Clearwater Harbor and Marina have some pretty fabulous views, too.

With lapping waves, soaring gulls, marine-life like dolphins skimming the surface to say hello, and an endless horizon, you could almost taste the salt. Or is that your homemade margarita?

Tune in for the perfect Gulf Coast sunset, or even rise early to greet the morning sun. Enjoy angles from atop the Wyndham Grand for beach views you’ve never seen before, or envision digging your toes in the sand as the edge of the waves lap over your feet. Meditation ideas anyone?

This is a great chance to check out some of your favorite beach spots or ones you’ve never been to before and add them to your summer bucket list of seashore adventures.

Missing out on some beach days isn’t all bad news, though. With fewer people, beloved Florida marine life like manatees and sea turtles are thriving in their natural and undisturbed habitat.

Who knew sinking into a live-cam at home could be enough to start healing the seascape?

Beach hopping was never so easy with these scenic live cams!
