You're probably already planning your new year bucket list and the Florida Strawberry Festival sounds charming and innocent enough to add to it—after all, who doesn’t like strawberries? But it is so much more than just that. So prepare yourself for 11 jam-packed days (pun intended) of strawberries, big-name concerts, rides, shows, attractions, contests, and food galore! You’ve never had so much berry-filled fun in your life.

We’re counting down the days until February 27 when the festival kicks off, bringing fresh fruity delights to the area until March 8. And while there are plenty of fun and games to be had, the festival also serves to keep a focus and appreciation on the agricultural and historical legacy of strawberries in Florida. You can even catch a glimpse of an actual berry field and check out an exhibit on how they’re grown.

In ways of entertainment, you will certainly not be disappointed. Big names like Rascal Flatts, Reba McEntire, Skillet, and more will be performing. While these shows require a separate ticket, there will be tons of free entertainment to check out too. You can read more about their nostalgic lineup here

Included in the admission price are Battle of the Bands, the Publix Showcase tent, and the Stingray Chevrolet Entertainment Tent, all of which have their own musical entertainment planned. On the grounds, there will also be Native American dance displays, livestock shows, and eating contests.

The festival is just $10, and if you check out these participating Publix locations on January 31, you can get tickets at a discounted price of $8.

The festival gates open at 10 a.m. daily and close at 10 p.m., so you’ll have an entire day of fun to enjoy. On Friday, March 6, however, they’re offering a special event called “Moonlight Magic Night.”

As the name suggests, the festival will stay open until 2 a.m., and guests will be able to ride most mechanical rides for one ticket price of $25.

Along with tons of fresh berries and shortcake, you can get all of your strawberry-merch needs and then some at this massive festival!
