Food, music, rainbows & everything love - all these things are amazing year round, but they become especially amazing when Pride Month rolls around. June is right around the corner, and we're ready to celebrate love at Florida's largest pride celebration.
St. Pete will be hosting their 17th Annual Pride Festival this June, and we're ready for this over the top love and equality celebration. The entirely FREE pride weekend is slated to run 3 full days in June from Friday the 21st to Sunday the 23rd, with various ways to celebrate your best self or be an ally to the LGBTQ+ community.
Pride weekend kicks off with a free concert at St. Pete's North Straub Park on Bayshore Drive at 6 pm. The 2nd day will feature the ever famous Pride Parade where you can watch everyone's fabulous selves strut their stuff, but the best part of the Pride Celebration will be the festival held on Sunday the 23rd.
Last year's event had over 230 awesome vendors to choose from - and is expected to be just as large if not larger than the last. Foodies will have plenty of places to grab a delicious bite of your favorite festival going goodies, while art addicts can feed their cravings with some unique pieces. The entire event will have live entertainment and performances so you can dance to the beat of your own drum all day long. There will be a little something here for every type of festival goer!
The Pride Festival Celebration is expected to be HUUUGE, with 50,000 anticipated attendees this year - an even larger crowd of love and acceptance than last year, and we're totally pumped! You'll be in the perfect environment to show your love and support for the LGBTQ+ community with your family or friends, as well as meet and connect with others at this all-inclusive event.
If you can't wait to show your pride, mark your calendar for the 17th Annual St. Pete Pride Festival. You can snack away the day, shake your tailfeather to some tunes, and wave your pride flag proudly from 11 am - 5 pm on June 23rd. The festival will be held at the Grand Central District at 2227 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, FL. 33713.
