For every brain's hungry zombie, there's gotta be a survivor with brains that keep them one step ahead, but do you think you'd make it when the apocalypse hits? If you are looking for fun things to do in Tampa this Halloween season, include tactical zombie laser tag and you can try to survive the horde.
In this undead experience, Laser Ops immerses you into their zombie world that is teetering on the edge of existence. Survivors will take a freight elevator to a briefing room to get their mission, and are then dropped into an 8,000 square foot air-conditioned, apocalyptic arena.
You'll find six different districts scattered throughout the space, each contaminated with deadly zombies. Survivors will have to laser shoot their way through the waves of "unrelenting undead." Bravery, playing it smart, and sticking together will be key to your survival.
The cost of this experience is pretty affordable too, at only $13 per person, per session with each session lasting about an hour. Will you survive or will you fall victim to the horde? Either way, you can follow up your experience with a bite and some booze at their full Bar & Grille, serving up your typical bar fare.
Laser Ops also has a full video arcade with games like skeeball, pinball, Halo, Hologate and other virtual reality experiences. They also have other tactical laser tag missions, bazooka ball, and archery tag for you to play all day.
All participating guests at Laser Ops will have to complete and sign a waiver before getting into the arena to slay some zombies. An overview and link to the waiver can be found below.
If you're looking for more awesome zombie experiences this spooky season, this central Florida theme park has a zombie laser tag mission and their guns actually recoil and simulate the sounds of battle. You could also try to escape from a Zombie Infested Apocalypse Ship starting this October. These 10 things to do to get you into the spooky season spirit might also help!
