Spring has sprung, and that also means that our floral dreams are going to come true. As the flowers bloom, you're probably dreaming about picking some up to add to your cute little book nook at home. This Florida farm's spring u-pick season has arrived, and you can actually pick your own arrangement of flowers here.
When you think Florida, you certainly don't think of farms, but Florida does have a few hidden gems where you can pick your own goodies. Berry Bay Farms in Wimauma Florida is the cutest little u-pick farm hidden away in the Florida countryside. Their spring season is upon us, and their flowers are beautiful in full bloom.
You'll get to frolic through the fields of colorful flowers, all while picking a few of your favorites to bring a little piece of beautiful back home with you. And picking your own bunch is surprisingly cheap. It's only .50 cents for a small sunflower, or $1 if you want a big one. Their zinnias are $5 a dozen, so you could go home with a whole bucket on the cheap if you wanted to.
Berry Bay Farms recently just got their spring crop in and are opening up purchases of those goods from 8 am - 5 pm starting on May 10th until all sold out. In a Facebook post, they listed their spring crops and their prices. You'll be able to purchase sweet corn at $12 a bushel, black-eyed peas at $15 a bushel, $3 watermelons, and $1 cantaloupes.
The strawberry season has come to a close for the year; however, Berry Bay Farms is also a strawberry farm, so when the season comes back around you can also pick your own juicy strawberries here.
