Get ready to embrace fall season in all its splendor with one of the most famous exhibits from Instagram culture. If you're looking for things to do in Miami this weekend, Yayoi Kusama's All the Eternal Love I Have for the Pumpkins is coming to a local museum this Saturday and it will be spooktacular.
This mirror exhibit is one of Yayoi Kusama's signature "Infinity Mirror Rooms" making its first debut in Miami Design District. The mirror exhibits are one of the most iconic works of the Japanese artist.
The pumpkin exhibit showcases Yayoi Kusama's quintessential symbol, the spotted pumpkin. The pumpkins are placed in a mirror room which creates an infinity repetition and will make you feel like you are in the largest pumpkin patch ever.
Though Florida is not known for fall leaves and crisp weather, it is one of the few cities you can still wear a sundress during a pumpkin patch.
All the Eternal Love I Have for the Pumpkins will allow visitors to fully immerse themselves in the artistic creation by Kusama. However, if you want a picture with the pumpkins you need to be fast. The exhibit allows only one person at a time and it is intended to be experienced for approximately one minute.
The exhibit is open on a first-come, first-serve basis. Admission is free every Thursday and $15 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The exhibit will run from Saturday, October 12th through January 31st, 2020.
