With the ever-growing art community in Atlanta, art events tend to be over the top and the best of times. They're even better when they're solely for the 21+ crowd. Add your favorite breakfast addition and you have one helluva party. Pancakes and Booze is hitting Atlanta this weekend if you're like us, this just sounds like a winnner night. Join other art lovers for a night of booze and unlimited pancakes at this super unique art show this weekend.
Pancake and Booze first began in 2009 in Los Angeles and now travels to multiple cities every year. The Atlanta Pancake and Booze Art Show made its appearance on the growing list of cities (including Miami, Dallas, New York City, Los Angeles and many others) in March of this year. Since it was such a success, they are bringing it back again for the summer.
This Friday, July 12, from 8:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., you and a few of your stylish friends can head down to the underground pop-art art show located at the Georgia Railroad Freight Depot in Downtown Atlanta.
Being such a laid back event, you can spend as much time looking at the art and eating as many pancakes as you can handle without being judged.
To wash down your unlimited pancakes, Pancakes & Booze organizers told Narcity there will be a full bar for guests to purchase craft beers and a variety of liquor for the perfect hipster combination.
Your eyes will not only feast on the food and drinks, but they will not be able to stop looking at the 700+ pieces of art from hundreds of artists covering the walls (and floors) of the venue.
Take your time taking in all that there is to see. Make sure you do not miss the various live body painting areas that will be going on throughout the night. If body painting is an art you've only seen on TV, this is the perfect opportunity to see it all, up close and personal.
If you see a piece of art you absolutely have to have, you'll be pleased to hear everything will be available for purchase.
There will be live music as well as local DJs playing throughout the event. The vibes are care-free and judgment-free, so feel free to relax when you are in this space.
Before you go stuff yourself with unlimited pankcake delights, you can stop by The Beltline and drink at Pour Taproom where you pour your own booze. This would make a great pregame before the main event, being that it is only seven minutes away from the pop-up show.
Pancakes And Booze is only $10 at the door to attend. If you want to skip the line, your ticket will be $15, but there are limited quantities. You can buy tickets online, or at the door.
