Whether you're the dedicated cosplayer or just the casual anime watcher, you know how big of a deal Comic Con is for pop culture lovers everywhere. Comic Con is one of the biggest and most popular conventions , and it is back for another year for a 3-day event.
This year, Atlanta Comic Con is being hosted in the Georgia World Congress Center on July 12-14th. Guests are encouraged to don their best superhero or cartoon character costume, but you won't be turned away if you choose not to dress up.

There are multiple comic book, Harry Potter, and anime booths. You can spend hours looking down the aisles of cosplay items and art pieces from your favorite movies and comics.
There will not only be a plethora of comic books, apparel, games, and toys for conventioners to gawk over, but you will be face-to-face with some of your favorite celebrities.
This year, guests will be able to meet and get autographs from a few familiar faces such as; Bonnie Wright (played Ginnie Wesley in Harry Potter series); Val Kilmer (Batman); Ryan Hurst (played Beta in Walking Dead); David Yost (played Billy Cranston in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie, Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers and Power Rangers Zeo); voice actors Cam Clarke, Townsend Coleman, Barry Gordon and Rob Paulsen (voice actors for THe Mutant Ninja Turtles); and comic creators Clayton Crain (Spiderman) and Afua Richardson (Black Panther) and so many more.
There will be opportunities for you to get an autograph from your favorite celebrities, and even snap a quick pic with them. You can download the free Atlanta Comic Con app in the App Store or Google Play. It will give you the entire schedule for when the events will be going on.
You will also be able to participate in free activities during your time here. You can play old fashioned board games like Heroclix, and video games in the E-Gaming arena like Smash 4 and Halo. You will also want to listen to panels while your favorite celebs, like David Henrie and Sean Schemmel, talk about their Hollywood endeavors.
There are so many things happening within this large event, you will want to go all three days to experience all of it. Each day has different experiences and activities. There will be different podcasts, panels, and movies going on so make sure to download the app so you do not miss any events.
