America is known as the melting pot with tons of different cultures incorporated into our communities, and Georgia loves to celebrate that. There are tons of global celebrations throughout the state that prove just how fun it can be to experience different nationalities by immersing yourself in a new world of amazing food, music and more. This Georgia International Festival in October lets you experience tons of global cuisine right in your own backyard.
The Atlanta International Night Market in Alpharetta lets its 58,000 attendees get a taste (literally) of what it's like to travel to different countries and experience their cultures, all without leaving the state. The festival will represent over 150 vendors that incorporate over 70 countries. The October 2019 event will be held at North Point Mall in Alpharetta and will feature an international village, food village, vegan village, artisan market, retail market and a cooking demonstration kitchen.
The three day festival on Oct. 4-6 will have a different cultural theme each night. Friday is "Taste of Latin America", Saturday is "Taste of BBQ" and Sunday is "Taste of the Caribbean". You can indulge in delicious international treats from Japan, Germany, Thailand, Colombia and more from fresh and local street food offering things like wok-fried soba noodles, gua bao and vegan gelato.
Tickets are only $8 for a one-day pass and $16 for a three-day pass, so you can celebrate diversity on a budget. You will have free access to dozens of stage performances, live music, cultural workshops and games.
The food vendors are not included in ticket prices, but they are super affordable! You can also get a $35 VIP pass for access to a drink ticket, four food tastes, private music performances, a lounge area and more.
At the retail and artisan markets, you will find tons of jewlery, apparel, cosmetics, and more made from local craftspeople and artists from over 50 vendors.
This immersive event lets you taste the world and experience true cultural diversity and you don't want to miss it. Other ATL events you can't miss are the massive Atlanta Greek Festival with homemade Mediterranean cuisine this month and this Afro-futuristic immersive fest in October.
