Many nightclubs are going to face some fierce competition later this year because a new naughty lounge is coming to Atlanta. If you loved watching Channing Tatum's dance routines in Magic Mike, you might enjoy what's opening this spring. The best clubs in Atlanta are up against this new male dancer spot joining the Midtown community.

Atlanta will soon welcome Johnsons, a speakeasy-style Gentleman's club with two current locations in Dallas, Texas and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The club will replace Domestic Comfort Furniture and Design in Ansley Square Shopping Center (quite the dramatic shift) on Piedmont Avenue.

The venue will feature male go-go dancers who will captivate their audience with a sexy soiree. Owners have made it very clear that the new location is "not a strip club and the talent does not reach full nudity."

Owner Matt Colunga is a bodybuilder, DJ, model and entrepreneur who previously held roles as former general manager and DJ of renowned adult entertainment club, Swinging Richards.

He's bringing his expertise to create some half-naked fun for The Peach State. According to What Now Atlanta, he is aiming to open up shop in late April or early May this year.

The new club is expected to encompass sultry, speakeasy vibes that add a little extra swank that may be a step up from similar local clubs like Pink Pony, Swinging Richards, Magic City and BJ Roosters.

Johnsons targets the LGBTQIA+ community which is continually growing in the Midtown neighborhoods. They'll be joining lots of gay bars in the area, including popular Ten and Blake's On The Park.

The lively night scene here is full of good vibes, pumping music, interactive drag shows and will soon add alluring male entertainers to the mix.

Once spring and summer blossom and you find yourself hitting up the Midtown scene after-dark, you'll have an extra spot to add to your risque adventures.
