October will be here before we know it. For all you beer and pretzel fanatics, this means a full month of Oktoberfest activites. All around the country, there will be all different events held for this holiday, and there will be some right here in Atlanta as well. You won't want to miss all things German at Atlanta's highly anticipated Oktoberfest.

Oktoberfest Atlanta is back for another year on Oct. 11 & 12. German-themed activites will be going on all weekend long, making you feel like you are right in Germany.

There will be German craft beer, food, music and games. General admission is only $17, or you can get a Beer Lover Ticket for $49 (includes four complimentary beers). With each general admission ticket, you will get admission to everything in Oktoberfest, a souvenir beerstein and a free beer.

This festival is for all those that love beer and huge salted pretzels. This time of year is mainly for drinking a lot of German beer and seeing a great number of people in lederhosen. In Germany, this event goes on for about two weeks, so we are just getting a little taste of the real thing.

Here there will be a plethora of different German beers you can try that you won't be able to get on your average day, so take advantage (responsibly).

Along with the alcohol vendors that will be there, you can try different dishes from this country across the pond. You can purchase food from vendors as well. Of course, you will be able to try all of the traditional dishes like bratwurst, sausages, large pretzels, schnitzel and German potato salad.

Vendors like Petite Auberge, The Pup Truck, WOW Pretzels, Scratch Food Truck and more will be in attendance.

You cannot miss the games that will be going on, that is the best part of the event! Some events include a keg roll race and a pretzel toss. Atlanta parks are always holding different events throughout the year. This upcoming event at the end of the month is another boozy fest where you can take a "world tour" with wine glass in hand
