You Can Actually Snow Tube Down Stone Mountain In Atlanta This Month
You don't even have to leave the state to enjoy a snowy winter!
Georgians don't get snow every year, and even when we do, it's usually not enough to make much of a difference. As the winter weather starts to set in, you may start thinking about how much fun it would be to build a snowman, go snow tubing in Atlanta, or just see a little bit of white on the ground. Well, this season, you will be in for a jolly fun surprise.
When you visit Snow Mountain, the first attraction that will catch your eye is the 400-foot tubing hill covered in snow. If you're the competitive type, you have to try Tube Runners. Go head-to-head with your besties to see who can race to the bottom of the hill first. Or if you've more of an adventure-seeker, try the Dare Devil Plunge. This super-tall slope will take you up to 30 mph while you travel through a tunnel of lights.
Even if you're not a fan of zipping down a huge hill, you can still. You can also try building a snowman or making snow angels at the Snowzone. It even feels like real snow is actually falling from the sky, thanks to the snow machines.
You also don't want to forget about Galactic Snow Tubing, which starts at 5:30 p.m. and boasts holiday lights during a magical nighttime snow tubing experience. You can get tickets for two hours at a time, so make sure you check it all out.
