One thing's for sure — whether you're a native Georgia peach or a transplant from elsewhere, loving and living in Georgia comes with loving soul food. The sweet smell of collard greens, macaroni and cheese, cornbread, cobbler and more will come together during Atlanta's free four-day Taste of Soul Festival. Taste of Soul Atlanta is a festival that celebrates all things soul food and the people behind those dishes.

Taste of Soul Atlanta (TOSA) is more than just a food festival. It's four days jam-packed with activities. For all the TOSA newbies out there, let's break down each day for you.

Friday, Aug. 30 — Day One

Kickoff day is filled with wine and art. When we think of divine wine, our minds automatically jump overseas to Europe. Contrary to that notion, there's a growing population of African-American winemakers right here in the United States, and they're bringing their world-class wine to the A for an exclusive tasting. "VinoTOSA" tickets start at $35, and will feature more exclusive giveaways when you attend.

If you want to experience more than wine, you're also invited to "ArtTOSA," an exclusive gallery featuring local artists of all different mediums. This $20 event will feature free cocktails from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 31 — Day Two

Saturday is the day the free festival kicks in. There's no admission charge, so you can bring your lawn chairs, post up and enjoy the sun. There's on stage music and games you can take part in, all at no cost to you. Classic soul food and your favorite dishes with a twist will be for sale, so play it safe and bring your wallet (your tummy will thank you). There will be freebies too!

Later on that night, the main stage will feature headliners that you must buy tickets to. Not all acts have been announced, but you know the city of Atlanta won't disappoint when it comes to music. The concert kicks off on Saturday and wraps on Sunday.

Sunday, Sept. 1 — Day Three

The highlight of the day is the open-air brunch. This brunch puts every other brunch in the city to shame. Chicken and waffles, breakfast empanadas and cinnamon rolls are just a small preview of the all-you-can-eat menu for $39

If you're feeling lavish, you can upgrade to bottomless mimosas or sangria. Mimosa lovers can keep the party going at the Atlanta Mimosa Festival in September.

The party continues after brunch, where the official TOSA festival heads into its last day.

Monday, Sept. 2 — Day Four

The "Soul Rise Classic" Community 5k run takes off bright and early in the morning. This would've been the perfect opportunity to run off some of that food and drink, but it's already sold out (sad face). You can still support your city from the sidelines.

Wherever your interests lay, there is something for everybody in this city at TOSA. Come out and support the West Side of Atlanta (aka the best side).

We all love a reason to brunch and brunch hard and this event has a full-day brunch for you to grab the girls adn enjoy bottomless mimosas. Check the details of BrunchTOSA to enjoy the biggest brunch Atlanta has ever seen.
