Bar crawls are what fuel Atlantians during the summer. It is the best way to meet new people, hang out with friends and try new places. This August, you will be able to participate in a pub crawl on the Beltline. This four-hour crawl will take you to the best bars and restaurants in Atlanta.
Pub Crawl on the Beltine is back for a summer edition. On Saturday, August 10, you can go on a pub crawl that extends from Inman Park to Piedmont Park and to the East Side Trail on the Atlanta Beltline.
The Beltline has had spring, winter and Fourth of July pub crawls in the past. Hundreds of people have participated in them. During the spring edition, over 600 people crawled, and 12,000 were interested in attending. Can you agree that this is one of the hottest events?
Most colleges in Georgia do not start until mid to late August, so this is the perfect end-of-summer event. You and your friends will get food and drink specials at every place that is participating in the crawl.
Tickets are $30 and you will get five complimentary drinks at the partnering bars. A custom coozie from the event is included too. Some of these are brand spanking new, so you are in for a treat. Some of the places that will be participating are:
As the event comes closer, all of the locations for the crawl will be announced. In the past, New Realm Brewing (who just released a new fruity beer in collaboration with King of Pops), FRITTI, King of Pops Bar and Bell Street Burritos participated in the crawls.
When you go to one of the starting locations, you will get a map of all the locations that are on the pub crawl. You can mark off each destination as you go to them, so you can see at the end how many you actually made it to.
The event staff will give you a band to wear around your wrist so the locations know you are participating in the crawl. This is how you will get your free drinks. Atlanta drink prices are not cheap, so this is a great way to try new beverages that you have been eyeing.
Not only is this going to be the party that closes out summer with a bang, but it is also going to introduce you to cool new locations. After you have finished the crawl, you can keep the party going at this three-story tiki bar. Sip on tropical drinks and grub on some tropical eats to end your night.
