The feeling of aligning your chakras while being surrounded with one of the coolest animals in the world is simply unmatched. In addition to the Kangaroo Encounter experience where you have the opportunity to feed the kangaroos and cuddle the joeys, North Georgia Zoo is now offering Kangaroo Yoga. This zen experience will send you on a chill and equally adorable excursion.

North Georgia Zoo in Cleveland, Georgia has so many amazing animals and experiences — and in executing these exhibits and events, their top priority is the care and safety of the animals  (and yours should be too!). The Zoo has teamed up with GOGA, a goat yoga farm in Alpharetta, to spice up your yoga vibes by adding cuddly animals to the mix. Get into Downward Dog in the company of goats, kangaroos and even more cute animals that will be announced in the near future.

At this once-in-a-lifetime experience, you will unwind and find inner peace with kangas roaming around as they please. Warning: your mindfulness and meditation may get distrubed, but the distraction is 100% worth it. The kangas seem to be quite curious, so they may come up to check you out. You can also pet them if you feel aligned to do so.

These classes don't discriminate; everyone is welcome, whether you are a beginner yogi or a yoga queen. Either way, don't forget to bring your own yoga mat.

Grab all your girlies for a 45-minute sesh of incomparable relaxation and giddiness because they only host the class if at least eight people sign up (14 people maximum).

You can book your tickets online for the next spot on Aug. 11 at 3 p.m. or 4 p.m. for $35 each.

If you are not able to make it on this date, make sure you sign up for piglet yoga with the zoo's Kune Kune Piglets on Aug 25. Hopefully you're lucky and have time for both.

Check back on the North Georgia Zoo website regularly to catch all the seasonal animal encounters or another yoga sesh.
