Savannah is the most haunted, and oldest, city in the entire peach state. With that being said, it has a few haunted places that you can go and try to see paranormal activity. Georgia's most haunted location, Moon River Brewing Company, is holding its most spooky event for a few days this month, and you have to sign a waiver to go.
If you are looking for an adrenaline rush, or into seeing a few orbs, this is the ghost tour for you. Also, if you like beer and wine, that should seal the deal.
The event website says that it is, "a fully immersive, sensory, paranormal experience," so you better get ready to see the things that go bump in the night.
You will begin by getting a private tour of the second floor of the brewery, which will lead to a back area that other ghost tours are not allowed to see.
This is the part of the tour where you can take as many photos as you want with your phone because you might catch a few figures and shadows in them.
After this, phones are prohibited and are to be turned off as you go further along in the tour.
This place has been featured on Ghost Adventures on TV, so you know there is some spooky activity here.
The final stop on the tour is the basement...and everyone knows that this is the scariest place in any house or building.
Here, the bar will open up so you can calm your nerves with some brewed onsite beer, as well as wine and a specialty cocktail named after The Haunting.
Down here, there will be employees telling stories about the building and things they, and former staff have witnessed. You will get some back history about the place to better understand where the ghosts came from.
You are more than welcome to explore the basement and cellar alone and enjoy some cocktails while you are at it.
As you come to the end of the tour, you will experience something that you probably have never before...a ghost summoning. But do not fret, you will be surrounded by a salt circle, so you will be fine.
Tickets run from about $32 to $40 depending on how close to the events you buy your tickets. There are ghost tours happening June 20, 23, 27, and 30 all starting at 8:30 p.m.
The tour lasts about an hour and a half, so plan accordingly!
After you buy your ticket, do not forget to sign the waiver before attending the event.
