Summer doesn't technically end until the end of September so you can still work your way to the very end to fit in all the summer vibes and create a few more memories. With a festival almost every week, we want to make sure we bring you the very best ones to put on your calendar. The Imagine Music Festival in September will be the hyper immersive event that you and your crew will not want to miss.
The Imagine Music Festivall will take over Hampton, Georgia Sept 19-22 and will have so many activities for you to get into. If you've ever been to a rave or even seen a scene from the movies, you're in for a crazy experience. Last year, thousands of IMF lovers came out to camp, crash, and party hard. Guests are expected to stay on the campgrounds or (if that's not your jam) in a nearby hotel, so accommodations have been set up with hotels in the immediate area. If you're down for the full experience, you can now camp with your friends in traditional tents or in Qubes. It's required that everyone you're traveling with has a camping ticket because they will be turned away if they don't have one.
This hidden Georgia treasure of a festival can be compared to Burning Man in set-up and structure. Think of this experience as going to multiple festivals within a festival. You and your friends will be brought into the festival's immersive world of "Imaginarium," a lost civilization filled with ancient mystery sharing, cememonies, workshops and "practical applications of Earth-based concepts." Sounds super trippy. This year's theme is "An Aquatic Fairytale" so it's encouraged to put together your best mermaid-inspired costumes and oufits to really get into the vibe.
There will be a transformational workshops (Mindfullness, Sacred Geometry, Consciousness, Meditation and more), outdoor games, amusement park-like rides and cirque acts (yes, like Cirque De Solei), a humongous pool that fits hundreds and a silent disco on the campgrounds. This will be a crazy experience guaranteed to introduced you to your next new best friends and bring you closer to your current ones.
Of course this wouldn't be a festival without a crazy lineup of EDM music acts. The concert will be five stages (Oceania, Amazonia, Disco Inferno, Aeria/Six Feathers and Techyes/Guerrilla 360) featuring Diplo, Above&Beyond, Alison Wonderland, Marshmello, Rusko, Zed's Dead, Alan Walker, Matoma, Seven Lions and many, many more. We suggest checking the website for each stage lineup for each day so you're guaranteed to see the acts you just cannot miss.
Now the tickets are nowhere near the cost of Burning Man tickets (which can add up to thousands of dollars), but for this intense party experience you will be dropping some major dollars. However, there's a silver lining, the organizers are offering payment plans so you can pay down the tickets, just like those students loans. Tickets are going fast and are disappearing, but if you go thrugh the official website, there are more available so act fast. There are also group deals so you and your friends can really ball out on a budget.
