If you're wondering why all these oyster festivals are popping up in the South in the next few months, it's because spring is the prime oyster season. An all-you-can-eat oyster roast in Charlotte is coming to the city for the first time ever. Even if oysters aren't your thing, you can still attend the event for fun activities and entertainment.

This oyster roast will be located at The Waterman Fish Bar in Charlotte, North Carolina on March 7 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. This will give you plenty of time to indulge in as many oyster delights as you can stomach.

The oysters come steamed and come with all the fixins as well. You'll get corn and little red potatoes, as well as New England-style clam chowder.

If you're not the biggest fan of oysters, there will be all-beef hotdogs that you can grub on.

Tickets are limited and they'll go fast, so it's advised to get them as soon as you can so you don't miss out on this new foodie fest

This all-you-can-eat deal will only cost you $40 paid in advance. When you get there, all you have to worry about is how many of these things you're going to put down.

Beer, wine and custom boat drinks will also be available for purchase.

Live music will be playing during the event, so you can sit back and relax for hours.

You can also play the yard games that'll be set up. What's an oyster roast without a little corn hole?

The event is also giving back to Ace & TJ's Grin Kids, a non-profit dedicated to enriching the lives of terminally ill or chronically disabled children.

For every Tito's cocktail sold, a dollar will be given to this non-profit, so drink up!
