You Can Watch Rooftop Holiday Movies Above The Las Vegas Strip This Month
Grab your favorite person and watch some Christmas classics.
Tis' the season for non-stop holiday movies, seasonal sweet treats, and ugly Christmas sweaters. If you're ready to celebrate the jolliest season of the year, then prepare for the best gift. You can watch holiday movies at the Cosmopolitan Ice Rink in Las Vegas.
Each season, the hotel transforms its pool into an ice skating rink. It's made out of real ice!
This winter wonderland sits on the resort's rooftop, giving you awesome views of the Strip. You can pose in front of the roof's huge Christmas tree with Sin City views in the background.
Entrance into the rink is complimentary; however, skate rentals, food, and drinks are available at an extra cost.
The frozen pool is open until January 5, 2020, with varying hours. You can check the calendar here for dates.
On select days, the rooftop also has movie date nights. Watching holiday movies under the night sky is a great way to treat your S/O. It's free to visit too!
Currently, you can enjoy classic films like The Grinch and The Polar Express on Mondays and Tuesdays in December. Sit by the fire pit, snuggle with your boo, and indulge in a tasty s'more-inspired martini.
For the complete movie schedule, you can check out the hotel's entertainment calendar. Whether you're a film buff or are looking for , this is a great way to do both.
If you'd rather shred some ice, skate rentals are $25 per person daily or $15 for locals, those with a military I.D., and hotel guests.
Let It Snow will be your new theme song during your time at the frozen pool. "Snow" showers occur every 30 minutes at select times throughout the season.
This is a great place to get a little slice of winter in the desert. Grab your BFFs and get ready to have a jolly time.
