This Austin Garden Is Having A Boozy Adult-Only Night With Treetop Climbing This Month
Fortlandia will unleash your inner wild child.
Tree climbing is a hobby we all wish we could enjoy more often. Unfortunately, where there are fun activities such as this, there are little kids following closely behind, making us unable to get to climb like we so desperately want to. Until now, that is. For one night only, you can take a trip down to Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in Austin for tree climbing, beer-drinking, and so much more.
On Friday, October 11, adults are invited to come out to Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center to enjoy the newest addition to the center, "Fortlandia", among other things. Tito's Handmade Vodka, Vista Brewing, and Richard's Rainwater are all sponsoring the Fortlandia Takeover: Adults Only and we couldn't be more thrilled. A night of climbing, drinking, and being away from anyone under 21 is exactly what we all need this October.
For just $75 you'll be able to experience everything listed above as well as being able to explore, play, and escape the 10 forts of Fortlandia, block-printing, a foraging tour, and live music. Tickets are on sale now and you can't get them in advance on the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center website.
The night will last from 4 to 10 p.m. and you'll even get to leave with a swag bag! It's like we're back at our friend's birthday party again, leaving with a goodie bag and a smile on our faces. Only this time, not a bouncy house.
This event will make us all feel like we're children again, and for once we're welcoming the nostalgia with open arms. Grab your boo or your BFF and plan to come out on Friday, October 11 for the!
