We all know that Austin is weird, but we wouldn't have the city any other way. This December, a Christmas loving Austin street is being transformed into the weirdest Christmas light display we've ever seen (and also the best). If you live in Austin, you may have driven past it once or twice, but this year driving and or walking through it is a must!

The 37th Street lights annual display is officially open to the public on Saturday, December 14 and everything typically stays lit from 7 to 10 p.m.

Rarely are we able to enjoy a Christmas light display for free, which is yet another reason coming out to 37th Street should be on your to-see list next month. You can walk or drive through the street and be amazed by what homeowners have put up for the public to see at no cost at all.

The light displays will be up until at least January 1, though this date could change, so as long as you make it out during the month of December you're guaranteed an opportunity to see everything set up.

If you're having a tough time finding 37th Street, it's right in between the Dominos and Groovy Lube nearby.

You do have the option to drive through the street, but walking is recommended to get to experience everything. Last year there was a stuffed animal petting zoo, which you definitely can't enjoy from in your car.

You can either find parking on 37th or 34th or 35th streets.

We can't wait to see what this year has in store for the 37th Street Lights annual display. The premiere on the 14th will be epic, and we're sure every day after will be too!
