Texas is filled with natural wonders that will blow you away with their beauty. Some of these natural wonders just so happen to be underground, where not many people are willing to explore! Well, Inner Space Cavern in Georgetown is filled with such undeniable beauty it'll lure you in before you have any idea what's happening. With school back in session and all the kids gone away, now is the time to go!

Inner Space Cavern offers all kinds of tours, some more adventerous than others. There's a "Wild Cave Tour" that offers off-trail caving through undeveloped parts of the cave. That's right, no handrails! No previous experience is required, but if you're looking for something a tad easier they also have their famous "Adventure Tour" which is much easier on the legs. You'll learn all about the cave you're walking through and take gorgeous photos along the way.

Cave tours are available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Prices start at $14.95 and go up to $26.95 depending on when you stop by.

Appropriate shoes and clothing are highly recommended for any tour they offer, and there's lots of food and drink options on the property. Texas has so much to do and see and this should be at the top of your list!

The San Antonio and Austin areas have tons of fun and cool caves to explore. There are even bat caves in both cities! If this is you're thing we highly recommend checking as many of them out while you're in Texas, visiting or not! A nice escape from the heat is exactly what we need this time of year.
