A 40,000 Sq Ft Game Room Near Dallas Is Hosting A 3-Day Pinball Festival This Spring
Ready for some pinball action?
If you were the pinball machine master growing up, every time you visited the arcade with your friends, you'd be hitting up all the latest pinball machines. If you loved to play tournaments with other players, this spring, there will be an event in Frisco that may interest you a lot. A massive Pinball Festival will happen near Dallas in March, so it's time to start refreshing your skills.
The 2020 Texas Pinball Festival will be held from March 27 to 29 in a 40,000+ square-foot game room, built for the occasion at the Embassy Suites Dallas – Frisco Hotel and Conference Center — 34 minutes away from Dallas.
The event will be any pinball lover's sweetest dream. The giant game room will be filled with more than 400 pinball machines, classic video games, and other goodies.
Best of all? All the machines and games will be set up on free play mode, so you can leave your tokens at home and enjoy an entire weekend of gaming for the price of a pass.
You can play the whole weekend for as little as $55 if you pre-register early. At the door, you'll pay $75 for the passes.
Cheaper single-day prices will also be available.
The event will also have tournaments, vendors, exhibitors, food and drinks from food trucks, a raffle for a pinball machine, and much more.
The Texas Pinball Festival can be a great excuse to be a child again, so drag your gamer buddies to this cool retro event.
Besides playing until you can't feel your fingers, you'll be able to purchase a variety of items from vendors, collectors, and hobbyists from the surrounding area.
They will offer video games, pinball machines, parts, game room memorabilia, pinballs, and more.
Also, there will be door prizes and one lucky person will take home a new pinball machine from the annual American Heroes raffle.
If you love a bargain, outside the hotel, there will be a flea market where you can take your old stuff for a sweet swap meet. The flea market is free to attend and opens at 8:00 a.m.
But the fun doesn't stop there. Adult and children’s tournaments will be taking place all weekend at different times (you can purchase tickets for those) for the opportunity to win trophies, ribbons, and even cash prizes.
After you put your pinball skills to the test, you can treat yourself with some delicious food. You can eat at the hotel, but there will also be food trucks waiting for you in the surrounding areas.
