Carrolton Is Having A Massive Free Festival With Tons Of Food & Games This Weekend
Tons of fun for free!
There is no doubt that there are tons of fun things to do around the Metroplex. Since the State Fair of Texas ended, there has been a little hole in our hearts where the Texas Star used to be. Thankfully, Carrollton is having a Festival at the Switchyard with tons of free activities this weekend on November 2.
Admission for the festival is free, and so are the games. If this isn't reason enough to stop by, you'll be happy to know that they will have two free concerts as well. The shows include performances by Tripping Daisy and Old 97's.
You will still want to take some cash with you because there will be tons of food at the fest. You will also be able to do some shopping with all the local vendors bringing their best for you to take a look at.
If you're really missing the Texas Star, you'll be able to hop on some exciting rides for free. The rides are scattered all over the festival grounds. The event will be from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. which means you'll have plenty of time to get on on the rides and still try all the best foods.
Carrollton is a land with tons of great things to do so its no surprise that this festival captures the best of it.
