Dallas Is Having A $5 "Fair Food" Festival Before The Texas State Fair Opens This Fall

The State Fair of Texas is quickly approaching and we are just buzzing with excitement. One of the best parts of the fair is all of the delicious fair food that you can't find anywhere else. If you're just too excited for all those amazing goodies, you can get a preview of the fair food in Dallas before the fair even opens because Trinity Groves is having a Fair Food Fest on Sept. 13.
The festival will bring some of your Texas fair favorites. Some of the delicious food you can expect to see at the event include turkey legs, cotton candy burritos, jumbo chicken fingers, and frozen watermelon slushie cocktails. These treats will come from the restaurants surrounding the grove like Chino Chinatown, Amberjax Fish Market Grille, and Sushi Bayashi.
Aside from all of the amazing food, there will be tons of activities. Guests will have the chance to participate in giant games of checkers, cornhole, and much more all for free. If you're looking for your next Insta post, they will have photo booths where you can show off all your amazing eats.
Tickets to this awesome event are only $5 to get in and in the true fair-style, you will need to purchase tickets to redeem them for food. The tickets will go for $5 per five tickets. Once you're done filling up on mouth-watering food you can check out this awesomein an abandoned mall.
