Dallas Is Having A Massive Water Gun Fight This Summer
Klyde Warren Park is going to be amazingly refreshing this June.
Continuing in Dallas summer tradition, a massive pop-up water gun fight will take place at Klyde Warren Park. The epic fight will be on June 1st at noon and you will not want to miss it! Fill up your biggest water gun and head on downtown for the biggest and craziest water battle ever.
The event is $2 for everyone who wants to join in, but you do have to bring your own water guns or water balloons to battle. As of right now, there is no announced artist playing at the event, but the organizers are working on bringing in local musicians to play during the celebration.
All the regular weekend food trucks will be at the event in case you get hungry during the giant war. The event is a free-for-all so there are no regulations as to how many water guns or shooters you're allowed to bring.
Last year the event brought hundreds of people together. The event is not organized by the park and is more of a flash mob pop-up so there might be people there that are not participating and are just passing by, so be mindful of who you're shooting!
This event is the perfect way to beat the Texas heat and is a great alternative to going to the pool. Gather up your best friends and head on down for the craziest afternoon ever.
Firefighters tend to show up to ensure everyone's safety and they even part take in the fun. The park does have water fountains that are normally there for decoration but for this event, they are a refueling station as well as a great place to cool off. If it happens to be your birthday, you can head on over to the event page and let them know for a special shout out the day of.
