You Can Test Your Detective Skills In A Murder Mystery At This Dallas Museum
It's a like an artsy game of Clue!
Growing up, you probably loved playing a fun game of Clue. Gathering all the details, trying to figure out who murdered Mr. Body, in what room and with what weapon. Prepare to relive your childhood dreams because the Dallas Musem of Art is hosting a Murder Mystery night on June 7th. In place of your favorite Clue characters, you will be figuring out the mystery with actual historical figures.
Visitors of the museum's murder mystery will have the chance to walk around and gather clues from many historical figures that are spread out all over the massive museum. Because the place is so large and there will surely be more than one person who solves the mystery, anyone who solves the murder case will be entered in a drawing for some awesome prizes.
The prizes include anything from a museum membership to gift certificates for their store. If the murder proves itself to be just a little too tricky for you, don't worry, they will announce the motive and weapon at around 9:30 p.m. so you can call it a day. The last call for detectives to give their answers is 8 p.m. but in those 30 minutes you have to spare, you are welcome to hang out at the museum's bar.
The cafe will also be open on the chance you want to grab a quick snack during your investigation. The event will start at 6 p.m. and run until 9:30 p.m. You must be 16 years of age or older to participate in this event. Tickets for the murder mystery start at $30 for students and DMA members, and if you happen to not be a member, your ticket will be $35.
The Dallas Museum of Art is located at 1717 N Harwood St. For tickets and more information on the event, you can visit their Facebook event page here.
