Dallas Pumpkin Fest Is Coming This October

Pumpkin themed everything is already hitting the shelves which mean fall is soon approaching. And while you never have to look far for pumpkin-themed goodies actual pumpkins in Dallas are even better. The Dallas Farmers Market is having a Pumpkin Festival on October 12 and it'll be filled with tons of pumpkin treats.

Pumpkin-themed everything is already hitting the shelves which means fall is soon approaching. And while you never have to look far for pumpkin-themed goodies, actual pumpkins in Dallas are even better. The Dallas Farmers Market is having a Pumpkin Festival on October 12 and it'll be filled with tons of pumpkin treats.

You'll be able to enjoy drinking out of a pumpkin and tons of photo opportunities. There will be pumpkins of all sizes and even some you can take home with you (including pies). Before you do though you can carve them out too.

Visitors will get the chance to see 25 varieties including gourds and squash.  If all of that isn't enough, there will also be face painting, a petting zoo, and live music. No matter what you choose to do at this event, it'll all be filled with pumpkin spice and everything nice.

“I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.” ― L.M. Montgomery . . I was never a big ‘Anne of Green Gables’ kind of girl, but good gravy do I love that quote and everything about October. And instead of editing photos from this weekend I’m going to think about the time I went to the @dallasfarmersmarket, lost my damn mind, and bought 3 pumpkins because I couldn’t decide. Worth it. 🎃 🖤 #iloveoctober
